This post will explain how to stake uniBTC with ease using SatLayer on Ethereum protocol.
The tutorial assumes you already have uniBTC. If not, you can acquire it from your DEX or CEX (where supported) of choice and swap various tokens directly for uniBTC.
Double check the contract address and add it to your wallet via Coingecko info, the SatLayer deposit app (further down this guide) , or adding the following contract address to your Ethereum wallet:

Let’s get started with staking uniBTC 👇
1. Head on over to the SatLayer deposit app and look for the UniBTC module as shown below.
Click “Deposit”
2. Upon doing so, the deposit window will open as shown below.
Select how much of your uniBTC you would like to stake, (or hit ALL) and click deposit.
- When you finalized and click ‘Deposit’ you will have two transaction to make.
One, to approve the spending of the uniBTC, and a second which will actually stake the UniBTC into SatLayer
- Confirm and pay both the TX’s and you wait for the status bar to update to ‘Complete’
N.B: If you receive any errors, check both gas and the cap limit for the asset you are staking.
- Congrats, you should receive a receipt satUNIBTC once your transaction is successfully completed.
