As the BTCFi ecosystem continues to evolve, Bitcoin holders can now unlock additional yield opportunities by staking and restaking their BTC. With Lombard, you can stake BTC to mint LBTC on Sui, earning incentives along the way. Then, take it a step further by restaking LBTC on SatLayer, amplifying your rewards within the Sui network.

Stake BTC with Lombard to mint LBTC on Sui

Before you can restake LBTC on Sui with SatLayer, you'll first need to stake your Bitcoin on Lombard. Follow these steps to get started:

  1. Connect your wallet.
  1. Enter your staking amount.
  • Decide how much native BTC you wish to stake.
  • Click the ‘Get LBTC on Sui’ button to initiate the process.
  1. Confirm the transaction.
  • Sign the transaction message to approve your BTC stake. 
  1. Confirm your LBTC destination.
  • Before finalizing your BTC stake, double-check that your LBTC is being sent to the correct wallet address on Sui. Once verified, click ‘Confirm’ to proceed.
  1. Deposit BTC.
  • A Segwit deposit address will be generated for you. 
  • Send the indicated BTC amount for staking to this address. 
  1. Wait for confirmation.
  • Once your BTC deposit is received, it will be staked. 
  • The process may take some time, so be patient.

Restake LBTC on Sui with SatLayer

Now that you have LBTC on Sui, it’s time to restake it on SatLayer to access additional Sats² rewards.

  1. Head to SatLayer
  • Navigate to the SatLayer app.
  • Under Sui > LBTC, click on the ‘Deposit’ button to start restaking.
  1. Choose your deposit amount.
  • Select the amount of LBTC you want to restake. 
  • Click ‘Deposit’ and confirm the transaction.
  1. Receive satLBTC and start earning.
  • Upon successful deposit, you will receive satLBTC as a receipt token.

  • Lombard Lux rewards
  • Babylon rewards
