This guide will explain how to stake BTC on Lombard and restake LBTC with ease using SatLayer on Ethereum.
Get started with staking LBTC 👇
Head over to the Lombard staking app and connect the Ethereum wallet that you wish to mint LBTC to.
1. Set Ethereum as LBTC destination network
2. Confirm address as seen in Figure 1
3. Stake directly (By sending BTC to the contract address) or, click one of the supported wallets.
4. Choose how much to stake from your supported BTC wallet and click ‘Stake’
5. Check and confirm the subsequent transaction
6. Wait for the tx to process and return to the Lombard Dashboard. Please be patient as the tx will take 60 minutes.
7. Scroll down in the dashboard until you see ‘Mint LBTC’. Click and mint LBTC and wait for the tx to confirm.
8. Check to see if you have received your LBTC, if LBTC does not appear in your wallet address, add this: 0x8236a87084f8b84306f72007f36f2618a5634494
9. Once you have received your LBTC, go to satlayer.xyz and restake via the ‘Deposit’ button to access SatLayer rewards.
- Choose the amount you wish to deposit, click the button and pay the corresponding tx fee
10. Congrats,you will receive satLBTC as a receipt token and you are now restaking on SatLayer, earning rewards.
